Logline:

A wayward prince with a power passed through his bloodline must journey to find the truth behind his family’s past to save the kingdom he once abandoned from an unknown evil before it consumes the world.

Treatment:

The kingdom of Chadwick is randomly attacked by an army of mysterious creatures and yet it’s proud people do not cower in fear. They are confident that their king, with his powerful blood, would save them, that is until he’s shot down before their eyes. When Eli, General of the royal army, learns that the mysterious force is after the wounded ruler’s royal blood, he decides his old friend Alec, the king, is hiding something dangerous.

Liam, a wayward prince, left his kingdom to his twin brother and now journeys to far off places seeking anything to keep his mind off what he left behind. Liam, his identity as a prince unknown, sits an at a table surrounded by gambling buddies. He wins another hand of cards, sending the tavern occupants into an uproar. Triumphantly, Liam offers a round of drinks to the entire bar.

While the battle rages on, inside the castle Eli demands answers from his childhood friend, the wounded king Alec. Alec makes the decision to tell his secret. Even so, in his haste, Alec only speaks the information needed to send Eli on his way.

Alec admits that he is not the true king. For centuries the power that flows in his families bloodline, has only appeared within one relative within a generation. However, this time around it appeared in two. Liam and Alec, who are fraternal twins, both received the powerful blood. The issue is that the power split unevenly and the majority of it went to Liam. Among themselves, the brothers came to an agreement. Liam holds most of the power but Alec was the one most fit to be king.

Alec retrieves a box. Inside are tubes of Liam’s blood. During their youth, the brothers discovered that they can both power up simply by drinking the blood of the other twin. Liam also has a container full of tubes of Alec’s blood with him. Usually, Alec would carry a tube on his person in case of the need like today but for some reason, the tube was not in its holder when he reached for it.  Alec retrieves a bag with the family crest on it and hands it over to Eli. He makes the request that Eli goes to find Liam and give him that bag. Liam will know what to do. And Liam will explain the rest to him.

One day, when Liam was on the verge of finding pleasure buried in the bosom of two women, Eli, an old friend and the person he least wanted to see, appears before him.
